He is Growing Sooo Fast!!

It is amazing how fast Aidan is growing! He can crawl across the room in no time! Not only that, but he is pulling himself up now... Its very rare that he can't when he tries! On top of all of this, he has his 1st 2 teeth! His 1st one came in on November 14th and the 2nd followed on November 23rd! Before we know it he's going to be walking!!

Aidan Said "MaMa"!!!

Well it is official, Aidan actually said "mama"! It was 2 nights ago. He was in his bouncer & was talking his normal gibberish. We kept telling him, "say mama" & then all of a sudden it was clear as day, "mama"!! I was so excited! He is growing up so fast & I can't believe how quickly the milestones keep coming! Just a couple weeks & he'll be 6 months!!
Not only did Aidan say "MaMa" I guess he decided that since he is such a big boy he should sit up now too...and so he did - in 1 day taught himself how to sit up

I'm 5 Months old!!

I cannot believe how fast he is growing and how fast time is just flying by!! I still remember that day in the hospital like it was yesterday. Before we know it he will be going off to college! Starting this month we will be working on starting his solid foods. We tried when he turned 4 months, but he was not quite ready so we will be trying that again! Also, he is just moving faster & faster and his personality is becoming so apparent! He loves people & being the center of the spotlight (gets that from his dad). He also loves dogs & would play with them all day if he could! Luckliy the dogs love him too. I'm sure that in a couple years they will not be sleeping on our bed anymore. He has had a couple bonks & falls since he became mobile & has not cried yet so he is gonna be one tough kid! And of course, he is cuter than ever!!

Aidan's First Day at Daycare!!

Yesterday was Aidan's first day at daycare!! I dropped him off and of course he was all smiles for his teachers. We set him down on the mat & he went straight for a little girl & started trying to pull her socks off! He ate well & even took a couple naps for them. My mom & grandma went to pick him up & everyone said that they loved him & he that he did really good. There was a little girl playing with him when they came to pick him up and when they took him away she started crying. Can't believe he's breaking hearts already!!

I'm a Big Boy Now!!

Aidan has been growing so fast & getting so strong! We can hardly believe it! Chad has gotten a job at Best Buy and this coming week Aidan will go to day care for the first time! The first couple days will probably be a little hard, but he loves playing with other adults & babies so I think he'll enjoy it once he adapts to the routine. And who would have guessed that the little man is crawling!! Not the perfect crawl yet, but it gets him from A to B and pretty quickly too!!

This year was a pretty special year! We got to take Aidan to Oceanside where Chad & I met 8 years ago!! Although he will be able to enjoy it more next year, he had lots of fun and new experiences.

The week went by really fast, but it was alot of fun. We can't wait until next year when Aidan can really enjoy all the fun that he can have at the beach!!

Allison's Wedding

My best friend, Allison was married August 2nd, 2008! This marked Aidan's first wedding & my first appearance as maid of honor. It was a very busy couple of days, but it was all worth it when Saturday came. Aidan got to go to Disneyland for the first time the Thursday before. He went on the Haunted Mansion & Buzz Lightyear!!

Aidan's 2 Month Appointment

May 8th we went to the Doctor's office for Aidan's 2 month appointment. They weighed and measured him and he was 11 pounds, 1 ounce & 23 1/4 inches long! Looks like he's going to be tall like his daddy! The doctor checked him out and said that he looked perfect and was in "good proportion". Next came the shots!! He got some cherry tylenol first which he liked. Then he got a rotavirus vaccine that he has to drink and apparently it doesn't taste so well because he almost choked himself! Then came the really bad part. He had several other vaccines, but they were combined into 3 shots total and man did he scream! Chad was laughing, but I almost started crying too because I was the one who had to hold him down. Once it was over all we had to do was give him a bottle and he was happy again. I am so glad that he won't remember any of that! But it is good news to hear that our little man is healthy!!!

Happy Independence Day!!

This 4th of July we headed out to Boulder City to spend time with the family.

It was great seeing all of Aidan's cousins. We also went to the parade to show off the little guy. We got to relax with family & friends, take Aidan for his first 'swim' and

have a sleepover at Gma & Gpa Morris' with all the kids back under one roof!!
